WHEREAS , th• City oC Englewood will conatruct a Project Build home on the property and
the emting utility ••""ment currently can not service the future new home ; and
WHEREAS, the ne w conatruction baa neceuitated Public Service Company to relocate its
utility easement in order to continue to provide utHities to the new reaiden ee ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C ITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLO 'tA.00, AS FOLLOWS:
Sl:s:lilm...l. The City Council of the City of Englewood approves a utility easement granted to
the Public Service Company of Colorado for a new utility easement which runs on the Eut
five feet of the property located at 2~9 Weat Warren Avenue, Englewood, Colorado as more
precisely deacribed on the attached Public Service Col7lpany Of Colorado Utility Easement as
Exhibit "A ".
~ The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to approve the attach•d euement
for and on behalf of the City of Englewood.

A Request approval of an ordinance granttng an easement to Public Service ~ompany
• of Colorado on 2249 W, Warren Avenue, which Ill a Project BUILD property.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL AC11ON
The City Council has approved the purchase of existing residential properties for the
Project BUILD Program.
STAFF ANALYSIS
The lot at 2249 W. Warren Avenue ts an oversize lot with the electrical service at the
rear of the lot. To se1v1ce the future new home, a service pole would be set at
approximately 125 feet on the East property line . The new home's electrical service
would be fed from that service pole.
BACKGROUND
Last year, the City CJuncll r ecommen:ied a program be lr!Stituted In Englew ·od
whereby n ewly c onstructed, ~;ngle-famlly homes replace seriously dllaplda,~d or
functlonally obsolesce nt houses. The property at 2249 W. Warren has b een
purch ased under the Project BUILD program and Is In the tltle of the City.

UTILITY EASEMENT ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2249 WEST WARREN
AVENUE WHICH IS A PROJECT BUILD PROPERTY CURRENTLY UNDER
CON STRUCTION BY THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD .
WHEREAS , the City of Englewood will con struct a Project Build home on the property and
the existing utility easement currently can not service the future new home; and
WHEREAS, the new construction has necessitat.ed Public Service Company to relocate its
utility easement in order to continue to provide utilities to the new residence ;
NOW, THErlEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIi, OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO , AS FOLLOWS:

the Public Service Company of Colorado for a new utility easement which runs on the East
