AN ORDINANCE APPROVING SUPPLEMENT NO. 124 TO THE SOUTHGATE
SANlTATIOJ\' DISTRICT'S CONNECTOR"$ AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD FOR THE INCLUSION OF LAND WlTHIN THEIR DISTRICT
BO UN DARIES.
WHEREAS, Southpte Sanitation Di strict has requested the inclusion of approximately
1.0202 acres int.o their District; and
WHEREAS, said annexation of this additional parcel of land will not increase th ,,,,
allocation to the Southgate Sanitation District; and
WHEREAS, this land is located on the east side of South Holly Street and between
Ara pahoe Road and Dry Creek Rood; and
'WHEREAS, the current zoning of the incl usion is R -P PUD with no change in zonine
proposed; and
WHEREAS, said inclusion will be used as a maintenance facility for the Willow Springs
Open Space property which will be operated by the South Suburban Park and Recreation
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT:

herein by reference .

ISSUE/ ACTION PROPOSED
At their July 12, 1994 meeting, the Water and Sewer Board recommended Council approval
of the Southgate Sanitation District Supplement #124.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
None .
BACKGROUND
A request was m arl e by the Southgate Sanitation District representing the owner/ developer
for inclusion into tl .e Southgate Sanitation. Inclusion of thi ~ land does not increase the tap
allocation to the Southgate Sanitation District .
STAFF ANALYSIS
Supplement #124 is for an area approximately 1.020:: acres . The current zoning is R-P PUD
and no change in zoning is proposed . The property will be used as a maintenance facility
for the Willow Springs Open Space property , and will be operated by the South Suburban
Park and Recreation District .
Sewer service will be required for 6,000 square foot office building , whi ch will include four
restrooms and one kitchenette . Construction of the facilities is expected to •·ommence in
August, 1994, with an estimated completion date of October, 1994 .
The owner of the property is Urban Drainage and Flood Control District . The legal -·
description is attached as Exhibit A; the property is located on the east side of South Holly
Street, between Arapahoe Road and Dry Creek Road .
