A RESOLUTION SETT ING TH E LIST OF PERSONS ELI GIBLE FOR APP OINTMENT AS
HEARING OFF ICERS FOR DISCIPLINARY AND MERIT APPEALS.
WHEREAS. lh e Englewood Ci1 y Co unci l passed Ordin ance No. I 9, Series of 1996 wh ich
modified 1he Eng lewood Mu ni cipa l Code in regard 10 disciplinary and meril app ea ls; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19, Series of 1996 rep ea led th e du1ies of th e Englew ,1 Ca ree r
Service Board and provided th a1 in man ers of disciplinary and merit appeals , 1he City Co uncil
wo uld appoi nt hearing office rs 10 hold hea rings and mak e findings and deterrni na:ions ; and
WHEREAS , the passage of this Resolution wi ll provide a li st of persons fo r appoi ntment as
hearing officers for a period of one year and who ma~ be reap poi nted by Co un ci l on an annual
basis:
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF
