He said the request would give us time to continue working wi th the auto-use committee, once we have a proposed ordinance and some desi gn standards for them to comment on. We expect to ha ve those within the next month or so and would meet with them in March . In addi1ion to th at , we wo uld have a co py of the revised South Broad way Plan for them to review and comment on. So, thi s wo uld continue the moratori um until August 15111• By our calcu lations. even with making some revis ions , we would ha ve enough time to be l.lack in front of Council by June or July and have a new ordi nance in pl ace by the time the moratorium expires . Mayor Garrett asked if there were questions for Mr. Graham . Council Member Wolosyn said I would like to reiterate that I hope that that commi ttee is notifi ed , of first reading, tomorrow. Mayor Garrett said this is first reading . We will have another reading and. hopefully. in th at interim they wi ll be notified . Mr . Graha m sa id we will contac t them in advance of the 171'11. He sai d Bev sent me an e-mail on the Second Annual "Building Livable Communilie s in Colorado: Connecti ng Community Design and Active Living" co nfere nce at the Stapleto n Doublctree Hotel and suggested that I shou ld attend it. Council Member Brad shaw sa id it is excellent. Mr. Tomasso sa id I would like to attend. The registration fee is $50.00. I was wo nd ering if the Council would be willing to ap prove my registration fee . Cou ncil Member Wolo sy n said I was plan ning on going 100, but I thought I would just use my P•card . Can we use our card on so mething like this? Ms . Bradshaw said yes. Council Member Tomasso sa id I will use the P•card . Mayor Garrett said so you wan! 10 go as well? Ms . I have already received so me comment s from people stating that they believe it is being addressed , at least the y believe it is getting J;e uer. so I appreciate that. That wa s \'cry quick . Mayor Garren said on our ag.mda we have a resoluti on supporting the reauthorization of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities Di strict, urging the legi slators to put it back on the baltOt.
