Mayor Burr.s co mmented that it seems kind of unfai r that the theater is suffering 1h is problem because of
our li ght s. He noted tl1ey have talked to Jerrell Black aboul lhis a couple of1imcs and suggested perhaps
they should get some more input Obviousl y, he noled. the lights arc on the driving range and 1f you can
hil a 200 or 300 yard drive out there the lights have to project and it appc.1rs they arc affecting the screen.
He asked City Attorney Bromnan or City Manager Clark if there has been a11 anal ys is or TC'\'cnues
received and the benefits of hav ing the ni ght golf or whether it has to extend beyond a ccn:un time.

He opined that ii perhaps should not be the entire rcsponsibilit)' of the City ofE~!D-airred the
problem, when they shoo Id have known, if they ,re an experienced design firm. thol .-Im bcem a
drive-in the.ire, sitting O\'cr there since 1973 and the screen is cle>rly vis,1,le to them. Flo-Slid lie is sure
that one of their sales points in selling these lights to the City was just how bright !hey an,: Mr. Goble
said he just wonders if the City could consider moving the lights. if the)• could absolbs,.... pan of the
