L SERIES OF 2006 • • A lESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE BULLETIN BOARD ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE ENGLEWOOD CIVIC CENTER AS THE OFFICIAL POSTING PLACE FOR ALL LEGAL NOTICES OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD FOR 2006. WHEREAS, lhc "Open Meelings Law", Slalc Statute §24-6-402(2)(c) requires that the public place or places for posting !:gal noliccs shall be designated annually at the local public body 's first regular meeting of each calendar year; NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV JD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD , COLORADO, THAT : Section I . The official posting place for all legal notices of the City of Englewood for lhe year 2006, shall be the Bulletin Bo'.ll'd on the north side of the second floor of lhe Englewood Civic Center and such notices shall be posted under the heading "OFFICIAL CITY NOTICES ." BACKGROUND, ANALYSIS, AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED Th e OPEN MEETINGS LAW, State Statut e§ 24 -6 -402 (2) (c) states that "a local public body shall be dee med to have given full and timely noti ce if th e notice of the mee ting is pos ted in a designated public pla ce w ithin the bounda ries of the loc al public body no less th an twenty-fou r hours prior to th e holding of th e mee ting. The public place or places for posting such notice st all be desig nat ed ann ually at the loca l public body's first regular meeting of eac h cal endar year ."
