Was,cwater Treatment Plant to appl'O\'C, by motion. the purchase ofwallrn~ys to be installed on the dome
roofs covering the Dis.sohul Air Flotation Thickener, (DAFT's). He explained that the wallm~ys will
provide access to the roofs of the DAFT's. The roofs wen, installed in Phase Ia "ith the DAFT faci lity as
P3f1 of the odor control dfons in that particular= The domes that cover the DAFT units arc
constructed of aluminum I-beams and bent aluminum sbocl metal . Tbe metal bas a smooth finish and
when wet. the surface becomes cxtn:mcly slippcty. A nlkway is nocdcd to provide safe access to
sampling and maintcnana: areas. Tbc walkwaynrcbudgeted in the 1994 budget at $42 ,000 .00 and the
q1101e came in at $43 ,000 .00. Tbe additional $1,000.00 is available within the facility budget. The

adjacent to the District at South Holly Street and Arapahoe Road, for inclusion in the District . Mr . Stowe
advised that the Water and Sel>~r Board has n,viewed the matte r and recommends approval .
