for lhe large 101 , privacy, and rural setting. He objected to the proposed West Caspian Place .
(f) Connie Coldiron. 2153 Wcst Wesley, Slaled she was unaware of lhe planned S1rcc1 an d
questioned lhe benefits and cost oflhc proposed Wcst Caspian Place. She expressed her opposition 10 1he
proposed Wcst Caspian Place . Lengthy discussion ensued.
Counci l Member Habenicht explained thal 1he issue of the proposed Wcst Caspian Place was prccipi1a1ed
by nu owner of propcny in the ri ght-of-way.
Council Member Bullock pointed out that some of the residen ts purchascd propcni cs ,\ith the expectation
th at there would be a stree t access to lhe rear of their propcny. He nolcd there arc reasonable nnd \'iablc
arguments on both sides of 1he issue.

wh en he bought the propcny. that r.he stree t would not be going through . He stated he is against the
co nstrucuon of West Caspian Place .

1hc Hos.1 nna Baseball Field b.1cks1op , which he considers too low. I-le maintained there was a vcrb:il
:igrccmcnt with !he Ci ty regarding compcns:11fo11 for lost bascb3Us . He pointed out that po1en1ial injuri es
co uld be negated by a higher or longer backstop or a S00\\1CllCC along the river side. He asked lhnl 1he
Ci ty rccvnlualC 1he si tuation . Also, the pay phone at the field is continually vandali7.cd, which erca1cs
problems durin g a '" .,; . emergency. Mr . Kozacck Slaled a phone in 1he press box is being pursued and
asked fo r any assistance the City can otri:1 .
