Mayo r Otis , presidin g , called the meeting t o order.
The invoc a tion was given by Reverend Thomas L. Kleen,
En g lewood Un ited Me thodi st Church, 3 885 South Broadw ay . The pledge
of allegiance was led by E~f Scout Troop #92.

was a study of Englewood 's draina ge basin only; Littleton was doi ng
their own . Mr . McCowu sta t ed t h e resu lts of the s t udy would i m-
pac t th~ de c isi o n-ma ki ng pr oce ss i 11vo lvin g expansi o n c on sidera tions
of t he Bi-City wa stewater t r eatment plant . Mr. Mccown s tated th e
stud y has been gi ven il low priority beca us e the i.1-h ouse staff re -
quired wo uld be wo rk i n g on redevelopment de,wntow:1 proj e cts whi ch
h v0 higher priority. The st udy could run a y ear or s o . Mr.
Mccown slated in-h ouse staff wo ul d perform items l t h roug h 9 of
Phas e I with Black, Vea tch prov iding direction. Item 10 of
Phase I wou l d be comple ted by the City and checked by Bl ac k &
Veatch . Phase II would require the effort of Black & Veatch , b ut
the mag n itude was unkn own at this time . Mr . Mcc o wn recommended
approvi n g a up pe r limit o f $8 ,60 0 fo r Phase I , items 1 throug h 10,
and at , initi al $10 ,00 0 to beg in Ph a s e II s ervices .
