Council Member Bilo objected to the closure of any streets on th P ba sis it would only incr ease tr af fi c in Englewood especially in r e - s idential areas. Mr. Bilo stated as far as Kenyon was concerned , it seemed appropriate to wait until th e Sa nta Fe corridors wer e co nst ruc ted as lhe railroad tracks we re going to be relocated a nd in effect close Kenyon. Furth e r the closing of Kenyon whether it be on the east side or t he west sid e would push all the traffic over to Oxford which in •urn wo uld increase traffic in the residential area s around Jason Street.
