COLORADO, BY ADDING THERETO A NEW CHAPTER CONSTIT UTI NG A PORTION OF TH E
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, FOR
TH E PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE HEALTH, SAFETY, MORAL S AN D GENERAL WELFARE
OF THE COMMUNITY; TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE APPEARANCE, S IZE , CHAR-

THE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS OVER THERE WHEN SANTA FE COMES THROUGH,
Coun c il Member Higday seconded lh e motion.
Council Member Bilo objected to the closure of any streets on
th P ba sis it would only incr ease tr af fi c in Englewood especially in r e -
s idential areas. Mr. Bilo stated as far as Kenyon was concerned , it
seemed appropriate to wait until th e Sa nta Fe corridors wer e co nst ruc ted
as lhe railroad tracks we re going to be relocated a nd in effect close
Kenyon. Furth e r the closing of Kenyon whether it be on the east side or
t he west sid e would push all the traffic over to Oxford which in •urn
wo uld increase traffic in the residential area s around Jason Street.
