brati o n of SJ .OD for 1 3 years and up . Mr . Burnett stated ther e
were plans to locate booths at v a ri o us locatio n s of th e park, and
he wou ld be asking pe rmi ss ion fr om the Pa rks and Rec reation
Departmen t to do th is .
Mr. Burn e tt stated t he Jayc ees we r e on a r ec ruiting drive
and invited th e Co un c il t o attend a "May o r's Nig ht' on May 2 4, at

City Attorney t o prepare a r eso lution stat ing the City's positi on
on Hou se Bill 1243.
City Attorney De Witt stated Hou se Bill 1 24 3 amends pr oce-
dares for the enfo r cement of dri n king water standards and reg u la-
tions that provide an ad ministr at iv e hearing process for t he De-
partment of Health. There was an objection to giving the De part-
ment of Health such administrative po wer .
