URBAN RENE WAL AUTHORITY FOR Tl-I E CITY OF ENG LEWOO D.
WHEREAS, the Englewoo d Urban Renewa l Authority has the stnt:.,ory au th ori ty to unde nakc
projcc 1s whic h i1 fin ds nece ss ary for the ph ys icnl deve lop ment of mun ic ipal lnnd use incl udin g
th e improvement of 1<·e as with in the Cit y; and
WH EREAS, Laura Rogers hns grac ious ly offered to se rve on th e Cit y of Englewood 's boards
a,,d co mmis sions; and
WHEREAS , currentl y there are no voca ncic s on the bo ard s and co mm is sions; ond
WHEREAS, th e Englewood Ci ty Counci l de si re s to appoint Laura Rogers as alternate member
to th e Urban Renewal Authority; and
WHEREAS, Ci ty Co uncil has request ed stalTto se nd this altern ate memb er pa ckets for the
Board she will be serving on so that she u n maintai n an und ers tanding of the curre nt issue s and
rules; and
WHEREAS, while the altern ate will not be abl e to , at the mee ting s, she is nevenhele ss
requested to attend as many meetings as possible to get a feel for the members hip an d issues; and
WHEREAS , Council wi she s to ex press i1 s gratitude for th e voluntccrism an J servic e
th at thi s indi vidual wi she s to bestow upon the City .
