HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-05-08 (Special) Meeting MinutesCOUNCIL CHAMBERS CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO May 8, 1978 Sl't:CIAL MEETING: The City Council of the City of Englewood, Arapahoe County, I Colorado, met in special session on May 8, 1978, at 7:40 p.m. The invocation was given by Councilman David Clayton. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Pro Tem Mann. Mayor Pro Tem Mann, presiding, called the meeting to order and stated the purpose of the meeting was a public hearing to con- sider the annexation of property located in the Santa Fe Drive/Union Avenue area of Arapahoe County to the City of Englewood. Mayor Pro Tem Mann asked for roll call. Upon the call of the roll, the following were present: Council Members Weber, Smith, Harper, Clayton, Mann. Absent: Council Members Williama, Taylor. Councilman Smith stated since the attorney representing the group of citizens petitioning for annexation to the City of Englewood is also his personal attorney, he must excuse himself from the meeting in order to prevent any possible conflict of interests. Mayor Pro Tem Mann declared a quorum was not present. 1978. Council agreed to request a postponement until May 15, Mayor Pro Tem Mann adjourned the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
