Mayor ~lor asked tor roll call. Upon the call ot the roll, the

The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Director ot CCllllBUDit7 Developaent Wanush stated that a public hearing
was held on June 21 1 1977 b7 the Planning and Zoning Colllllission on the rezoning
ot 3210-80 South Bl&llllock Street tra11 R-2 to B-1. He presented the following
exhibits: (1) Exhibit A -Certification ot Posting ot said property; (2)
Exhibit B -Statt Report an4 recommendation tram the Planning and Zoning
Commission; (3) Exhibit C -Pindin&• ot Fact from the Planning and Zoni.ng
Commission. Mr. Wanush stated that thi• rezoning would conform with the
Comprehensive Plan. He noted that no one appeared before the Planni.ng and
Zoning Commission public hearing to oppose the rezoning, and that the Planning
and Zoning Camdssion..recmmends the rezoning 1".ra.-.R-·2.· to B-1 with a conditional
covenant that the use tor this propert7 be limited to the construction ot an
ottice building.

Assistant City Manager Curnes stated that the new revenue sharing
regulations require a public hearing ~D revenue sharing 1\mds when a change
in those tunds ia recommended atter an original budget is approved. He stated
that 1\mcla in the amo\Ult ot $363,271' are being recommended to be transterred
tram Stora Drainage to River Developnent.
Mayor Taylor asked it anyone in the audience wished to speak in
tavor ot this transfer.
Ruth Tromlq, 3104 South Vine Court, ·appeared and stated she is in
favor ot transferring revenue sharing tunda tro• Storm Drain.age to River
Development.
Mayor Taylor •sked it anyone in the audience wished to speak against
this transfer. Ro one appeared.
Council.JDan Brown atated tbat City Council has already started replacing
money to the Stora Drainage account tor 1978 to complete tbe projects anticipated
to be completed in 1977.

City Attorney Berardini stated a resolution will be prepared tor tbe
next Council meeting to authorize this change.

There being no further business, Mayor Taylor adjourned the City
Council meeting at 8:55 p.m.
