Home My WebLink About1977-12-06 (Special) Meeting MinutesSPECIAL MEETING: COUNCIL CHAMBERS CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO December 6, 1977 The City Council of the City of Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado, met in special session on December 6, 1977, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Tqlor, presiding, called the meeting to order. The invocation was given by Dr. Harold Warner, First Christian Church, 3190 South Grant Street. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Tqlor. Mayor Tqlor asked for roll call. Upon a call of the roll, the following were present: Council Members Williams, Mann, Brown, Clqton, Teylor. Absent: Council Members Sovern, Smith. The Mayor declared a quorum present. Mayor Tqlor stated that Councilman Smith was absent from the meeting because he was out of town on City business. Broadwey that he has recently purchased from Mr. Arthur Snow. COUNCILMAN MANN MOVED THAT ITEM 5 (A) WHICH CONCERNS THE TRANSFER OF TAVERN LICENSE TO MR. KENNETH RICHAROO BE MOVED AHEAD FOR COUNCIL ACTION AT THIS TIME. Councilman Williams seconded the motion. Upon a call of the roll, the vote resulted as follows: Ayes: Council Members Mann, Brown, Cl~ton, Williams, T~lor. Neys: None. Absent: Council Members Sovern, Smith.
