the height set forth in Sectian 22.4 -10 d (l) of said Ordinance. providinq. how-

The minutes of the Rousing Code Study Camailtee meeting of April 14, 1966,
were received for the record. The City Attorney stated that a bill for a Rousing
Code would be presented to the Council at the July 18, 1966, meeting or the first
meetiDCJ thereafter.
The minu~es of the Public Library Board meeting of June 14, 1966, were re-
ceived for the record. A memorandum dated June 17, 1966, fran the Library Board
reccmmendinq acceptance of a six month reimbursanent in the amount of $7,512.50 from
the Arapahoe County Regional Library District waa received and discussed. It was
noted that the actual cost of providing the six month service to county card holders
would be $15,750.00.

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING WITH ~S, CHAPTER 9 OF THE
MUlfICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD TO GRANT TO TBB PARI<S AND RECREATION
DIRECTOR AUTHORITY TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS COVERING BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT
OF PERSONS WITHIN ANY CITY PARI<S AND TO ISSUE PERMITS FOR PARK ACTIVITIES.
COUNCILMAN LUDWIG,MOVED, OOUNCILMAN FULLERTON SEOONDBD, THAT ORDINANCE NO. 9,
SERIES OF 1966, BE PASSED ON FINAL READING AND ORDERED PUBLISHED IN FULL IN THE
ENGLEWOOD HERALD AND ENTERPRISE. Upon the call of the roll, the vote resulted as
follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Rice, Parkinson, Ludwig, Hanson, Fullerton, Allen.
Nays: None.
Absent: Councilman Kreiling.

The City Attorney discussed the request of Mr. John B. Cartwright to •xtend
the time for demolishment of the former City Ball building located at 3345 South
Bannock Street. It was pointed out by this delay it was hoped that actual con-
struction of a structure at this site could immediately follow demolition.
RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO,
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH JOHN B. CARTWRIGHT BXTBRDlNG THE TIME FOR JOHN B.
CARTWRIGHT TO DEMOLISH CERTAIN IMPROVP.MENTS PRESENTLY EXISTING UPON A PARCEL OF
REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, City Council of the City of Englewood did on the 15th day of
November, 1965 pass a Resolution, wherein and whereby the Mayor and City Clerk
were authorized and directed to convey to John B. Cartwright the improvement then
owned by the City existing upon certain real property owned by John B. Cartwright,
subject to certain conditions, which realty is located in the City of Englewood,
County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, and is described as follows, to-wit:

and a11 of Lots 1 and 2, FLOOD'S ADDITIOB TO ERGLDIOOD, according to the
recorded plat thereof, in the County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, more
particularly described as follows:
Bec}inning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 2, FLOOD'S ADDITIOB TO
BllGLEllOOD: thence Borth, alonq the West line of Bannock Street 175 feet;
thence West and parallel with the South line of said Lot 2, 233.5 feet:
thence South, parallel with the West line of South Bannock Street 175
feet more or less to the point of intersection with the South line of
said Lot 2, extended Westerly: thence East along said South line of Lot 2
as extended, 233.S feet to point of beCjinniDCJ: •

provement to the said John B. Cartwright by Quit Claim Deed, which conveyance
was subject to certain conditions, one of which was that the said John B.
Cartwright was to demolish the improvement which was the subject of said Quit
C1alll conveyance and that complete demolition thereof was to be ccmpleted on or
before July l, 1966, failing which the City reeerved the rifbt to re-enter and
take possession of said lllprcwement: and
WHEREAS, the said John B. Cartwright has requested that the date for cca-
pletion of said demolition be extended frcm July 1, 1966 to September 1, 1966, to
which extension City is agreeable:
