HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-01-02 (Regular) Meeting Minutes [1]106 REGULAR SESSION: COUNCIL CHAMBERS CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO JANUARY 2, 1968 The City Council of the City of Englewood, Arapahoe County, coiorado, met in regular session on Tuesday, January 2, 1968 at 8 P.M. Mayor Allen, presiding, called the meeting to order and the invocation was given by Father Richard Ling, All Souls Catholic Church, Englewood. The Mayor asked for roll call. Upon the call of the roll, the following persons were present: councilmen Fullerton, Kreiling, Ludwig, Parkinson, Rice, Allen. Absent: Councilman Hanson. Also Present: City Manager Dial, Assistant City Manager Mack, City Attorney Criswell, City Clerk Lyon. The Mayor declared a quorum present. COUNCILMAN FULLERTON MOVED, COUNCILMAN RICE SECONDED, THAT THE MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 4 AND 18 REGULAR MEETINGS AND THE DECEMBER 11 SPECIAL MEETING BE APPROVED •. upon the call of the roll, the \Ote resulted as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Fullerton, Kreiling, Ludwig, Parkinson, Rice, Allen. Nays: None. Absent: Councilman Hanson. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Mayor Allen recognized the following special guests and welcomed them to the meeting: Mr. & Mrs. Walter R. Lindekugel, 4220 South Galapago. Closing statements were given by Mayor Allen and Councilmen Lidwig, Fullerton, Rice, and Kreiling. City Clerk Lyon read the minutes of the January 2 City Council meeting. COUNCILMAN ·FULLER'IUN MOVED, COUNCILMAN RICE SECONDED, THAT THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 2 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AS READ BY CITY CLERK LYON BE APPROVED. Upon the call of the roll, the vote resulted as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Fullerton, Kreiling, Ludwig, Parkinson, Rice, Allen. Nays: None. Absent: Councilman Hanson. The Mayor declared the motion carried. COUNCILMAN FULLERTON MOVED, COUNCILMAN LUDWIG SECONDED, THAT THE 1966-67 CITY COUNCIL ADJOURN SINE DIE. Upon the call of the roll, the vote resulted as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Fullerton, Kreiling, Ludwig, Parkinson, Rice, Allen. Nays: None. Absent: Councilman Hanson.
