WBBRBl.S, there has heretofore been presented and tiled with this 001111011 a petition subscribed bJ the owners of a majority of the frontage directl.7 abuttins on the Streets and portion• thereof included within this Improvement District, requesting that this Council provide for the grading of certain streets within the Cit7 of Englewood and the construction of sidewalks and incidentals thereto an4 for the creation of the local improvement district, and to provide for the p&7fDent of the cost of said ioprovernents, in accordance with Chapter 180 of the Seeaion Laws of Colorado for 1923; and WHBREA , it is the desire of this Council to proceed wity the necese&rJ steps for the construction of eaid pro~osed improvements and the establishment of local improvement district in connection therewith. HOW,'l'HXRKPORB,BB IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01 THE CITY OP ENGLEWOOD: (l) That the Hall-Sinclair Sidewalk and Street Grading Improvement Dietriot be created as a looal improvement in accordance with Chapter 180 of the Sessi.on Lawe of Colorado for 1923. (2) That the Hall-Sinclair Sidewalk and Street Grading Improvement District shall include all of the real estate,lote land,parcels and acres excluoive of public highways within the following boundary line to-wit: " Begin ning at the intersection of the center line of &outh Sherman Street and Rast Dartmouth Avenue; thence east to an intersection with the center line of South Clarkson Street; thence South to an intersection wity the center line of at Girard Avenue; thence west to an intersection with the center line of the alle7,continued,bet een South Fearl and South Pennsylvania Streets; thence Borth to an int e rs ec tion with the c ent e r line of East Floyd Avenue; thence west to an int rsecti on 1th the cent r line of South Logan; thence north to am intersection 1th the cent e r lin of East Eastman Avenue; thence west to an intersection with the cent r lin e of South Sherman Street; thence north to the point of beginning." C3t hat the details and specifications stated are hereby adopted as follows: "That the width of the sidewalk shall be five feet (5ft.)and that the thioJcnese be four inches (4") and that the streets be graded eixt)r feet (60 ft.) in wtdth. · · C•> That the cost of said improvement shall be payable in twenty (20) annual installments; that the first of said installments shall become due an4 peqable at a time to be decided upon after the completion of said improvements b7 the final assessing ordinanoe,one installment being due each year thereafter until the said coat shall be fully paid. All of the ootl of ::~aaid improvements shall be due and payable within thirty days after the final passage of the assess- ing ordinance. (6) That all unpaid principal of said costs and assassments shall bear interest at the rate of six percent (6~) per annum and any and all installments not paid when due shall bear interest at the rate of 1% per month or a fractional part thereof until paid. (6) That the City Engineer be and he hereby is instructed to prepare an c estimate ot the cost of said proposed improvement, together with a map ot the distrret in which the improvement is to be made and a schedule showing the approximate amoua~a to be assessed on several lots or parcels of property within the district.
