Mr.Blelaen reported for the Water Committee that he had been in co111Dunicatlon with George 5Jl7der in regard to the purohase of the Snyder main in the 3300 block on South Lincoln Street, that he had made Ur Snyder an otter ot 60.00, Alr.S~der responded b7 saying that he would sign over all hie intereet in aaid main tor 100.00. Council instructed Committee to continue 'h• otter of ~50.00 as that was all they considered the .main worth to the Cit7. Clerk read communication from R.W.Gordon of the General Iron Works aaking permission ot the Council to enclose the space between the Iron Works prope~ line ancl the roadwiq on the west aide of Elati Street, between Bates and 1r1t tor parking space. This matter was referred to the Street & Bridge Committee tor investigation, to report baok at next meeting.
