WHEREAS lots 14 to 20, inclusive, Block 5, Hamilton & Killies Addition,
are delinquent in the payment or special taxes over a period or several
years, and
WHEREAS the owner thereof has offered to pay the amount of said delin-
quent installments, together with interest on the same at the rate of six
percent(&,!), and
WHEREAS the City Council believes it to be tor the best interest of the
City to accept such offer,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOlVED That the County Treasurer ot Arapahoe
County be, and he is hereby authorized to accept payment on said delin-
quent installments, together with six p ercent (6~) interest, as payment
in full and to issue a receipt therefor.

WHEREAS it has been determined by the Certified Public Accountants
who have recently completed an audit or the accounts and affairs of the
City or Englewood, that the said City has a deficit which has been in-
creasing from year to year, and
WHEREAS no provision has been made to care for said deficit and the
interest thereon, and
WHEREAS the current annual budget is insufficient to care for the
current expenses,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOIVED: That application be made to the Colo-
rado Tax Comaission for permission to increase the levy.
