T ~e Council g ran ted ~r. Pearce permission to tap the main on So. annock
S t. and extend the main approxi ma tely 150 feet South to accomodate several
new h ouses which !r. P earce is erecting i n the 3200 Block on South Bannock.
The M.E . Carlson Construction, in submitting their bid to the Denver Water
Board tor laying a wa t e r main down West uincy Avenue from Broadway to the
Railroad tracks, requ ested the permission of the City Council and County
Com missioners to rip up 16 f e et of the str e et, and requested the information
as to wh at the dama g es might be.
The County a n d City Officials agreed to allow the l.L E . Carlson Construct-

ion Co. permission to rip up the .Street in it entirety from 9 dwy. to the tracks;
push the oiled surface all to one side; lay their 48 inch main; replace the dirt;
a nd re-;ay the surface, adding what oil is necessary; and maintain the street
f o r l year thereafter.
Th e Carlson Cons truction Co. was so notified.
RES Ol UT I ON
7~ER•AS l ots 33 & 34; Block 4; Bank Ad dition; are delinquent in the payment
of s~e cial taxes over a period of several years, and
WH EREAS the owner thereof, O.E. Woods, has offered to pay the amount ot the
said d elinquent installments, together with six percent (&,() interest on the same,
and the City Council believes it to b e to the best interest of the City to accept
such off er;
NOW T".ERE FORE BE I T RESO VED: That the County Treasurer be and he is hereby
authorized to accept as payment in full th e amount of the said delinquent install-
ments, plua six percent (~) interest, a n d to issue a receipt in full theretor.
