Co ombs seconded,) that the Council accept the offer of the Denver
Tramway Corporation to pay the City .Five Thousand Five Hundred Sixty and
43/100 Dollars as p ayment in full of the Englewood Paving District Hl
Special Improvement Tax and interest on the t•llowing described property,
to-wit: "a str1 r o f land between the rails of each track and two (2) feet
outside of each rail '·of the Denver City Tramway Com p any's tracks within
Paving District No. l."

the ba~k in whi c h he kept his deposits before the so called banking holiday,
i n lieu of t he bonds required by statute t o secure municipal funds, and

t h e bonds in the list are tag ends or in other words, the last numbered
bonds in their series and will be paid only if and when all preceding num-
bered bonds are paid, and
WH EREAS the City Coun cil feels that the new .City Treasurer, A.B. Honeywell,
should not be obli ged to l'P•Ft any liability resulting from such act or the
former City Treasurer, ~

keepi n g 4,000.00 in City of Englewond, Colorado, Water Works Revenue Bonds
which he had been holding . The Bonds are numbered 4; 5; 6; 7; and Mr. Davies
was g iven a receipt for these bonds by the City Treasurer.
