P enn., requesting protection from the disorderly conduct of one Robert Vaughn, egro, who has caused some trouble in the neighborhood. Several or the neig~bors testified as to what had taken place in the locality recently. The Council infor ned them t h at the police would be instructed to pay particular heed to any signs of disorder there in the future. ·.-,•.2 q ~A s Jots '37 '38; Block 11; Idlewild; are delinquent in the payment of s ecial taxes over a period of several years, and T ER•AS the owner thereof, El me r i;;. Scott, has offered tp pay the amount of the said delinquent installments, to ge ther with interest on the same at the rate of six percent (&;;); and the Council believes it to be to the beat interests of the city to accept such offer; OW THEREF ORE BE IT RESOLVED: That th County Treasurer of Arapahoe Co. be, and he is hereby authorized to accept as payment in full the amount of the said delinquent installments, together with interest thereon at the rate of six percent (~); and to issue a receipt in full therefor. McClelland spoke to the Council regarding the Special ImproYe- ment District Work on outh Bannock St. pertaining to the collections ot installments on outstanding notes now due on the work, and also of acquir- ing signers on notes from residents who have n t as yet signed up to pay their proportionate share of the cost. It was recommended that fr. AcClelland be employed as a Special Collector at a salary of ~30.00 per month to collect delinquent installments and also acquire si gnatures to new notes from residents along So. Bannock St. who have not si g ned up. It was a reed that ~r. McClelland would start work January 3, 1938, and would furnish a surety bond of $1,000.00. Also that possibly upon the com- pletion of this work on So. Bannock Street, a project would possibly be worked up along South Acoma and So. Cherokee in the same section of twwn. ,r. Earl Danley a pp eared before the Council regarding hia Christmas Tree license, stating that due to his inability to display his trees on the parking, he was unable to properly sell them; and was now asking tor a refund of his '25.00 license. The Council refused his request. Smith, City Clerk, be appointed Po lice Magistrate to fill the unexpired term of the late Judge luke w. Terrell.
