Mayor Graham called the meeting to order and asked for Roll Call. R011 CAll: Coombs Present Jenkins Present 5 Present Dolezal Present Walker Absent Absent 1 Dunning Present Weigand Present Ur. H.E. Boot of the General Outdoor Advertising Company apoke to the Council regarding the possibility of allowing billboards for advertising purposes to be erected within the City limits. Such a proposal would necessitate a change in the present ordinance in this regard; and the Council advised that they would conaider such an amendment or change. Kr. Jack Koger and a group of local contractors appeared before the Council relative to a licenae tor Building Contractors, and Sub-Contractors, to be effective in the City ot Englewood. . Thia group were to hold a meeting among themselves and report back their findings to the Council as to the amount of the license tee, etc. which they might recommend. RES OlUTION WY EREAS Lots 31 to 37; Block 28; South Broadway Heights; are delinquent in t h e p ay ~ent of s p ecial taxes over a period of several years, and wqE REAS the owner thereof, Mildred M. Stanley, has offered to pay the amount of t h e said delinquent installments, together with interest on the same at the tate of six p ercent (Gfo) per annum; and the Council believes it to be to the b est interests of the City to accept such offer; THEREF ORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the County Treasurer be and he hereby is authorized to accept as payment in full the amount of the said delinquent in- stallments, plus six percent (et) interest; and to isaue a receipt in full therefor. Alderman Jenkins moved,) Dolezal seconded,) that the toregoing resolution be adopted.
