REGULAR ADJ OUIDED MEETING OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
COLO RADO, HElD JUNE 27, 1938.
Uayor Graham called the meeting to order and asked tor Roll Call.

Ur. Bullen spoke before the Council regarding a flume on his property
which was to have been put in by the City in consideration tor his having
given the City of Englewood a Quit Claim Deed tor a right-ot-way along
little Dry Creek.
The City agr e ed to do their part as the deed recites.
Mrs. John Wolt appeared before the City Council regarding a survey on
South Cherokee Street to establish proper lot lines in the block.
The Council felt that it was not the City's business and the property
owners should take care of this proposition.
Ura. A.H. Saunders requested permission to use the land recently aa-
quired between South Lincoln and South Sherman, between Tufts and Union
Avenues, as an automobile race track for midget auto races tor an indef-
inite period until she can get the title clear on the property.
The matter was tken under advisement by1he City Council with definite
information and permission forthcoming at a later date.
RESOLUTION
WH EREAS lots 6 & 7; Block l; South Broadway Heights; are delinquent
in the payment of special taxes over a period ot several yeara, and
WHEREAS the owner thereof, R.H. & Thelma williamaon, have offered
tp pay the amount of the said delinquent installments, together with
interest at the rate of sis percent (&fo); and the Council believes it
to be to the best interests of the City to accept this ofter;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the 'County Treasurer of Arapahoe
County be and he is hereby authorized to accept as payment in full the
amount of the said delinquent installments, together with interest at the
rate ot six percent (&fo); and to issue a receipt in full therefor.

Weigand seconded,) that the City of Englewood Join the Colo-
rado Municipal league, the assessment to be paid from the Legal Costs
of the General Fund of the City.

There being no further business to come before the Council, Council
adjourned until July 11, 1938.
