Hoey as Chief of Police. Chief of Police Jerry Boyer was heard on this re~uest; and pointed out that there was dissension and discord on the Police Force; that revenue had fallen off; and made a recommendation that Officers Hoey and Oberg be discharged. Alderman Weigand moved,) Jenkins seconded,) that the request of the Hoey and Oberg be discharged for the peace and harmony granted, and that the Council replace these men.
