RE COMMENDED ACTION Staff recomm ends that Co unci l consider and approve by reso lutio n the proposed changes and add it ions to the prev iously approved Deve lopm ent Review App li ca tion Fee Sc hedule, as hig hli ghted in Exh i bi t A. BACKGROUND Six mo difica ti ons to th e Fee Sc hed ule approved by Reso lution 38 are proposed. Th e mo difica ti o ns are hi gh li ghted o n the attached Exhibit A and are as follows: Appeal Thi s fee was omitt ed on th e sc hedul e appro ve d by Reso lut io n 38. Th e fee is proposed to be th e same as th e Var iance fee previously recommen,Je d by th e Board of Adjustm ent and A pp ea ls. H istori c~ll y th e fees fo r Vari anc es and Appea ls have bee., the sa me. Variance This is a clarifi ca tio n. Th e Va ri ance fee app lies to all dist ricts and all use s. Historic Pres ervation Applicati on This fe e was omitted on the schedule approv ed by Reso lu ti o n 38. Th e fee is in line wi th si mil ar appli ca tions tha t require similar deg rees of admin is tration, post ing, p ub lica tion and recording. Encroachment Agreement -Administrative This is a cla rifi cation to differe nt ia te th e ad ministrati ve encroac hm ent agreemen t fee from th e fee fo r an encroac hm ent agree me nt 1hat requires Coun ci l Actio n. Th e fee remains as approve d by Reso luti on 38. En croachment Ag reem ent -City Council This is a new fee ini tiated by Co un cil Request 03-040 w hi ch reques ted a re view of fe es associa ted w ith dev elop ment th at req uires City Coun cil action. Nonconformin g Use Registration Th is is a new fee that is in lin e wi th simi lar applica tions th at re qu ir e si'"11i lar deg rees of adminis tr atio n and reco rding.
