authoring applications fo r three o f th e projec ts included in thi s applica tio n. Two of the proj ec ts
(University Side w alks and Bell ev ie" Sid ewa l!:s) are currently includ ed in th e TIP. Re-s ubmittal is req uired
to maintain th e fu nding. Th e So uth Broa dway Str ee ts cape project appli ca tion was not funded in th e tw o
previous TIP cycles.

In th e Transp ortati on Equi ty A t (TEA-2I ) Metropolitan Pl ann ing Organiza tions have th e res p onsib ility to
develop and approve the TIP . The program iden titi es the h ighes t priority projec ts sub mitted by COOT,
RTD, and lo al jurisdi ctions to be impl ement ed ove r th e n xt six yea rs. A minimum :m perce nt match is
re quired b the loca l spo nso r, and in so me case s a grea ter match is proposed in order to help th e projec t
score. o r if the p roj ct cos ts exceed th e limits es tabl,s hed by th e MPO. Th ere are over SO jurisdictions
