HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002 Resolution No. 084• • RESOLUTION NO . ff!t SERIES OF 2002 A RESOLUTION REMOVING A PERSON FROM THE HEARING OFFICERS LIST AND THE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW PERSON TO THE LIST OF PERSONS ELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT AS HEARI NG OFFICERS FOR DISCIPLINARY AND MERIT APPEALS. WHEREAS, the Englewood City Council passed Ordinance No.19, Series of 1996 whlch modified th e Englewood Municipal Code in regard to disciplinary and merit appeals: and WHEREAS , Ordinance No . 19, Series of 1996 rep ealed the d•1ties of the Englewood C'oreer Service Board and provided that in matters of disciplina ry an,t merit appeals, the (. 1ty Co uncil would ap point hearing officers to hold hearings and make D..iJC1ings and determinations: and WHEREAS , the Englewoo d City Council passed Resolution No.47, Series of 2002, establishing a list of qualified persons for appointment as Hearing Officers for disciplinary and merit grievances fol" a period of one year with the right to be reappointed by Co un cil on an annual basis ; and WHEREAS , Harry N. MacLean has requested the removal ofhls na me from the list as he is working on other projects and will not be able t.o act as a hearing officer. NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT : 5l:l:tism..l. The City Cou nc il of the City of Englewood. Colorado, hereby approves the removal of Harry N. MacLean from the list of Hearing Officers anti appoints John P. DiFalco to the list of qualified Hearing Officers .
