A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING-THE BULLETIN BOARD ON THE FIRST FLOOR
LOBBY OF ENGLEWOOD CMC CENTER AS THE OFFICIAL POSTING Pl,ACE FOR
ALL PUBUC NOTICES OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD.
WHEREAS, the Bulletin Board located in the EDC!ewood City Hall Lobby hu been the
official poltinr place for all notices of the City of Englewood; end
WHEREAS, due to the move of City Hall to the Englewood Civic Center it ia uec:euary to
designete the bulletin board on the 1• floor, north entry lcbby of the new Englewood Civic
Center u the oflicial poating place for all noticea of the City of Englewood;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE (T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT :

Englawood shall be the Bulletin Board on the lint floor , north entry lobby of the new
Englewood Civic Center and such no'1cea ahall be posted under the headinr "PUBUC
NOTICES." This Resolution doea not in eny way of itaelf cr1!ate a requirement for notice.

COUNCIL GOAL AND PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On January 3, 2000 City Council designated the bulletin board In the lobby of Englewood C.lty
Hall as the Official Posting Place for all notices of the City of Englewood.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve a resolution designating the bulletin board on the 1• 11oor north enby lobby of the,_
Englewrod Civic Center as the Official Posting Place for all notic8s of the City of Englewood,
effective June 12, 2000.
BACKGROUND, ANALYSIS, AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED
The OPEN MEETINGS LAW, State Statute§ 24-6-402 (2) (c) requires that "a local public body
shall be deemed to have given full and timely notice if the notice of the meeting Is posted In a
designated public place within the boundaries of the local pubic body no less than twenty-four
hours prior to the holding of the meeting.
