HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999 Resolution No. 045• • RESOLUTION NO.~ SERIES OF 1999 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AW ARRANTY DEED CORRECTING THE OWNERSHIP STATUS OF PURCHASERS AS JOINT TENAN'l'S. WHEREAS, In August 1993 , a Contract to Buy 2705 S. Delaware Street was received and accepted from Glenn R. and Leah C. Cooper; a?d WHEREAS, contracted listed the purchasers as buying the property as joint tenants; and WHEREAS, the Warranty Deed issued by the City of Englewood for cloeing on October 14, 1993 did not show the buyers as joint tenants thereby making the property ownership as tenants in common; and WHEREAS, the owners request a correction deed showing the property purchased by the Coopers as joint tenants; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT: ~. The Englewood City Council hereby approvea the "Correction Deed," ahowing the real property at 2705 South Delaware Street, Englewood, Colorado, as being purchased from the City of Englewood by Glenn R. Coop.,, and Leah H. Cooper as joint tenants. The Mayor is authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest and seal the "Correction Deed" on behalf of the City of l,;nglewood, Colorado.
