Establishing fees by res olution is required by TiUe 5, Chapter 1. At the May 6, 1996 study session, staff discussed the prope!Sed moratorium with the City Council. On June 3, 1996, the City Council read and passed Ordinance 25 , Series of 1996 on final reading . This Ord inance established the moratorium to run from June 10, 1996 to December 10, 1996. Council adopted Ordinance 55 , Series of 1996 extending the mora.lOrium until April 10, 1997. On February 18, 1997, City Council approved on first reading a bin for an ondlinance extending the moratorium until July 10, 1997. Counc il approved on first reading this license under Title 5 , Chapter 10 of the City Code on June 2, 1997. On June 16 , 1997, Resolutio n 58 was approx,ed by City Council. Resol~t,on 58 incorrectly set the fee at $250, not $100. Fi na nc ia l Services will refund any amounts overpaid the c· of Englewood . RECOMMENDED ACTION Staff recommends Gity Council approve this resolution . BACKGROUND, ANALYSIS , AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED The fee is being corrected to reflect previously estab lished levels. An application fee has been added. Fe es are set by resolution to allow City Counc il flex ibility in revi ewing and setting fees . No alternatives wer~ identified. FINANCIAL IMPAC '. Fees of $800 .00 were collected for th is license in 1996.
