A RESOLUTION ESTABUSHING n:ES.FOa TEL:ECOMMUNJCATIONS FACILITIES
AND TOWERS UCI::b{SES UNDER TITLE :S, CHAP'l1ER 27, OF THE ENGLEWOO D
MUNI CIPAL CODE 11186.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CitJ·..C Englewood, Colorado ha e amended the
En1lewood Municipal Code with the-• C.B. 30, Series of 1998 requiring
telecommunicati,,n towers and talecomaw>iil:ations facilities to be licensed ; and
WHBREAS, licenee feee an, eet by Co=cJ resolution on an annual baeis; and
WHEREAS, t his reeolution eetablilbeo llmense feee for Telecommunications Facilities a nd
Towers as a result of ad ditional costs =d by the City and the nature of these ue es;
NOW, T HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13'1 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
E NGLEWOOD , COLORADO, THAT:

COUNCIL GOAL AND PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
This resolution establishes fees for telecommunicat ion fac iliti es (towers and facil ities ). Establishing
fees by resolution is required by TiHe 5, Chapter 1.
City Council discussed the Telecommunications Ordinance at a study session held on April 6, 1998.
Council adopted Council 811130 on first reading on June 1, 1998 and on second reading June 15, 1998.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Staff recommends City Council approve this resolution establish ing fees for telecommunication
facilities . •
BACKGROUND , ANALYSIS, AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED
No fees have been previously established since this is a new license . Fees are set by reso lution to
all ow City Council flexibility in reviewing and setting fees.
No alternatives were identilied .
