A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR DIRECT SELLERS AND ITINERA1cll
VENDORS LICENSES UNDER TITLE 5, CHAPfER 5, OF THE ENGLEWOOD
MUNICIPAL CODE 1985 .
WH E REAS, the City Council of the City of Englewood , Colorado has amended the
Englewood Municipal Cod e with the passage of C.B. 16, Series of 1997, by deleting the
refer ence to license fees ; and
WHEREAS , license fees are more a ppropriately se t by Council resolution on an anm:mJ
ba s is ; and
WBEREAS , this r eso lution establishes li cenae fee s for Dir ect Sellers and ltinera..-t

NOW , THER,:FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUN CIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWO OD, COLORADO, THAT :

This resolution eSUlbliishes fees for direct seller and itinerant vendors licenses . Establ ishing fees by resolution is
required bv Trtle 5, Cbapter 19.
P' the lvlay 6, 1996 s!Udy session, staff discussed the proposed morato,ium with the City Coun cil. On June 3,
·, d96 , the CHy Cou ncil read and passed Ordinance 25 , Series of 1996 on final reading . This Ord inance
est abl ished the moratorium o run from Ju ne 10, 1996 to December 10, 1996 . Council adopted Ordinan ce 55,
Series of 1996 extendiing the moratorium until April 10, 1997. On February 18, 1997, City Council approved on
'!rst reading a bill for Oltf111ance exte ndi ng the moratorium until July 10, 1997. Council approved on first
reading add ing a new Hie 5 . Chapter 19 to the City Code .
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Sta ff recommends Cit-;• Council approve this res olution .
