A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR TATI'OO ESTABLISHMENTS LICENSES
UNDER TITLE 5, CHAPTER 24, OF THE ENGLEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE 1985.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Englewood , Colorado has amended the
Englewood Municipal Code with the passage of C.B. 29, Series of 1997 , by deleting the
reference to license fees ; and
WHEREAS, license fees are more appropriately set by Council resolution on an annual
basis; and
WHEREAS, this resolution establishes license fees for Tattoo Establishment Licenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO , THAT:

following fees fo r Tattoo establishments:

Application Fee
$5 0.00 annually
$10.00 paid in advance

COUNCIL GOAL AND PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
This resolution establishes fees for tattoo licenses. Esalif!Shing fees by resolution Is required by TiUe 5, Ch apter

Al the May 6 , 1996 study session , staff discussed the proposed moratorium with the City Council. On June 3,
1996, the City Council read and passed Ordinance 25, Series of 1996 on final reading . This Ordinance
established the moratorium to run from June 10, 1996 toOeceml>er 10, 1996. Council adopted Ordinance 55 ,
Series of 1996 extending the moratorium until April 10. 997. On February 18, 1997, City Council approved on
first reading a bill for an ordinance extending the moralcr.Wm urtil July 10 , 1997. Council approved on first
reading this new license under Trtle 5, Chapter 24 of~ lty Code on April 7, 1997 .
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Staff recommends City Council approve this resolution.

Ne fees have been previously established since this is a new rJCense . Fees are set by resolution to allow City
Council flexib ility in reviewing and setting fees .

No fees were collected for these licenses in 1996 . Fees, are set as follows :
