A RESOLUTION ESTABLIS!ilNG FEES FOR AUTO SALVAGE AND RECYCLED
MATERIALS YARDS LICENSES UND~R TITL&.S, CHAPTER 10, OF THE
ENGLEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE 1985.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eni,!,ewood. Colorado bas amended the
Englewood Municipnl Code with the passage of CA 45 , Series of 1997, by deleting the
reference to license fees ; and
WHEREAS, license fees are more appropriately .,, by Council res ol".tion on an annunl
ba sis; and
WHEREAS, thi,, resolution establishes licen,ie fees for Auto Salvage And Recycled
Materi:1.ls Yards Licenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT:

following fees for Auto Salvuge And Recycled Mnerials Yards Licenses:

Tllrs resolution establishes fees for auto salvage/recycled malerial5 licenses. Establishing fees by resolution is
requ ired by nue 5, Chapter 1.
At the May 6 , 1996 st udy sess :on , staff dlscussad the proposed moratorium with the Cijy Council. On June 3,
1996, th e City Counci l read and passed Ordinance 25, Serie s of 1996 on final readlr.g. This Ordinance
cs.ablished the moratorium to run from June 10, 1996 to December 10, 1996. Council adopted Ordinance 55 ,
s..ries of 1&96 extending the moratorium until April 10, 1997. On February 1B, 1997, City Council approved on
l'itsl reading a bill for an 01dinance extending the moratorium until July 10, 1997. Council approved on first
re.ading 'hi s li ce ns• under TIii e 5 , Chapt er 10 of the City Code on June 2 , 1997 .
