WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eni,!,ewood. Establishing fees by resolution is requ ired by nue 5, Chapter 1. At the May 6 , 1996 st udy sess :on , staff dlscussad the proposed moratorium with the Cijy Council. On June 3, 1996, th e City Counci l read and passed Ordinance 25, Serie s of 1996 on final readlr.g. This Ordinance cs.ablished the moratorium to run from June 10, 1996 to December 10, 1996. Council adopted Ordinance 55 , s..ries of 1&96 extending the moratorium until April 10, 1997. On February 1B, 1997, City Council approved on l'itsl reading a bill for an 01dinance extending the moratorium until July 10, 1997.
