Barthlome, Director of Ad ministrati ve Services COUNCIL GOAL ISSUE / ACTION PROPOSED Staff seeks Council support fo r the attached resolutions approvi ng cost of li,ing wage increases of 3.75~0 for the year 1994 for the followi ng groups of employees : (a) Part-time, Benefits-Eligible Employees (b) Confidential Employees (c) Police Didsion Managerial and Supervisory Employees (d ) General Sen,jces Managerial and Supen'isory Employees (e ) Fire Di,,j sion Managerial and Supen'isory Employees PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION The previous resolutions for the above groups were approved in 1992 and were effecti ve fo r th e time period betw ee n Janua ry 1, 1993 through Dece mbc-31 , 1993 . STAFF ANALYSIS Cos t of li ving wage increases are key to keeping Englewood 's talented employee pool. For 1993 , the wage increase was 4.0%. Th e suggested 1994 increase of 3.75 % is equivalent to that being given bv conh·a ct to empl oy ees covered by the Englewood Employees Assoc iation . FINANCIAL IMP ACT The attached resolutions outline the proposed wage increases for the corning year.
