SERIES OF 1993
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR POLICE DfVJSION
MANAGERIAL AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD
FOR THE YEAR 1994.
WHEREAS, by Charter a mendment efTective April 13, 1981, City Counci l provided
for the establishment of managerial employees within the service of the City of Englewood ;
and
WHEREAS , by virtue of mana gerial dutie s assigned to these position s by the City
Manager, it has been determined that they are manage rial and therefo re excluded from
membership, participation , or represent.ation in any collectively bargained empl oyee
sysU!m of the City of Englewood Police Division ; and
WHEREAS , und er the Compensation and Renefits Pl an for Police Division
managerial and supervisory employees, City Council desires to establish the pay rates for
the year 1994 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO , THAT:
~ The pay for managerial and supervisory empl oyees of the City of
Engl ewood Police Divi sion for the calendar year 1994 shall increase by 3. 75 %.

The p revious resolutions for the above groups wen, approved in 1992 and were effective fo r
the time penod between January 1, 1993 through December 31, 1993 .
STAFF ANALYSIS
Cost of li,·i ng wage increases are key to keepm6 Englewood 's talented employee pool. For
1993, the wage increase was 4.0%. Th e suggest~i 199-l increase of 3.75 % is equi valent to
that being given by contract to employees covered by the Englewood Employees
Association

The attached resolutions outline the reposed wage increases for the coming year . The
