rates for the yea r 1993 ;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RE SO LVED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF TH E CITY
OF E:-;GLEWOOD , COLO RAD O. THAT :
~ The pay for managerial a nd s u pendsory employees of t he C ity of
En glewood Fire Division fo r the cale ndar year 19 93 shall in crea se by 4%.
S.e..t1.i.o.n.. Th e City will pay 85% pe r month of th e premium cost fo r dependPn t end
single cove rage . Employees will pay 15% of the m onthl y premium cost fo r single and
d ependent covernce. The costs to be paid by said e mployees for h ealth and de ntnl ins ura nce
coverage shall be as follo,vs :

ISSUFJACTION PROPOSED
Staff seeks Council support for the Resolutions approving compensation plans for the year
1993 for the following groups of employees:
(a) Part-time, Benefits-Eligible Employees
(b) Confidential Employees
(c) Poiice Division Manage rial and Supervisory Employees
(d) General Services Managerial ad Supervisory Employees
(e) Fir e Division Managerial and Supervisory Employees h-<u,# lt!P~
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
The r'revious Resolutions for the above groups were approved in 1991 and were
effective for the time period between January 1, 1992 through December 31, 1992 .
STAFF ANALYSIS
n,e City of Englewood has established, by resolution, compensation plans for th e
groups designated above. Th e insurance p remiums for the City Self-Funded
Medical and City Self-Funded Dental for 1993 remai n at th e 199'.! rate. The
Comprecare rates have increased slightly .

To t attached Resoluti ons outline the proposed rompensation increase and
insurance µremiums . The approximate financial impact of the wage increase is as
follows :
