SERIES OF 1989
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF THE PLAZA AT LITTLE DRY
CREEK BY THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD FROM ENGLEWOOD URBAN Rr-N EWAL
AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, by agreement with the City, Englewood Urban
Renewal Authority (EURA) agreed that the Authority would be
r esponsible for acquiring properties necessary for public
.im provements and constructing the improvements; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the im provements, EURA agreed
to dedicate these improvements to the City for purposes of
control and maintenance; a nd
WHEREAS, EURA authorized the dedication o f The Plaza at
Litt : ! Dry Creek to the City of Englewood by EURA Resolution No.
1, Series of 1989, at its meeting of February 1, 1989;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT :
The parcels o f land in The Plaza at Little Dry Creek,
autho rized f or transfe r by the Englewood Urban Renewal
Aut hority to the Ci ty o f Englewood by Resoluti on No. 1,
Series of 1 989, at its February 1, 1989 meeting, are hereby
accepted . The parcels of land, being in the City of
Eng l ewo od, County of Arapahoe, State of Co lorado , are
l egally descr i bed as follows:

URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY
A RESOLUTION OF THE ENGLEWOOD URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY TO CONVEY CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD.
WHEREAS, the Englewood Urban Renewal Au t hority has been des i gnated by
the Englewood City Council as the agency respons i ble for implementing the
adopted Downtown Redevelopment Plan (Urban Renewal Plan); and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of certain properties is an essential ele -
ment in the construction of tho public improvements and the fu r therance of the
approved private redeve 1 opment, thereby implementing the Pl an ; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has acquired the parce 1 s of 1 and as described
on the attached Exhibit A upon which to construct certain public improvements ; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the public improvements upon tho se par -
cels i s now complete; and
WHEREAS, to comply wi t h the intent of the Downtown Redevelopment Plan
and Cooperat i ve Agreements between the City and Authority whereby a 11 public
improvements were intended to be transferred to the City by the Authority for
the purpose of ma i ntenance and contro 1 of use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commi ss i one rs of t he
Englewood Ur ban Renewal Authority of the City of Englewood, as follows :
Section I.
The Englewood Urban Renewa 1 Authority hereby autho r izes the t r an s fer
of ownership of the properties described on the attached Exhibit A,
tu the City of Englewood.

Thence N. 43°07'06" w. a distance of 44.21 feet;
Thence N. 89°54'51" w. a distance of 142 .00 feet to the
West line of Lot 21, Flood's Addition;
Thence along said West line S.0°07'53" W. a distance of
32.00 feet to the Point of Beginning:
Co ntaining 5,045 square f eet , more or less, and known as
3493 South Acoma Street.
Area D: Lots l -5, Block 6, Skerritts Addition, also
known as 140-146 West Hampden Avenue.

the Englewood City Council as the agency responsible for implementing the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commis~•i oners of the
Englewood Urban Renewal Authority of the City of Englewood, as follows:
