HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989 Resolution No. 018• RESOLUTION NO, i.!._ SERIES C'F 1989 BOOK5673rm 752 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF THE INCA WAY STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY BY THE CITY OF EN GL EWOO CI FROM ENGLEWOOD URBAN RENENAL AUTHORITY. \"IHEREAS, by an agreement with the City, Englewood Urban Renew a l Authority ( EURA) agreed th D~ •.he Authority would be responsible for acquiring propertie3 nec<J ssary for pul.Jlic improvements a11u constructing the impr ~vements; and WHEREAS, upon comp letion of the improvements, EURA agreed to dedicate these improvements to the City for purposes of con trol and maintenance; and WHEREAS, EURA authorized the dedication of the Inca Way rig ht-of-way to the City by EURA Resolution No. 1, Series ot 1989 a t its meecing of February 1, 1989; llOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or' THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT: The pa rc el o f land comprising the Inca Way right-of-way, authorized for transfer by the Englewoo d Urban Renewal Au thority to the City of Englewood by Resoluti on No . 1, series of 1989, is hereby a ccepted. I SERIES OF 1989-- CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY A RESOLIJTION OF THE ENGLEWOOD URBAN RENEWAi. AUTHORITY TO CONVEY CERTA!ll REAL PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD. IIIIEREAS, the Englewood Urban Renewal Authority has been designated by the Englewood City Council as the agency r e i:ponsible for implementing the adopted Downtown Redevelopment Plan (Urban ~enewal Plan); and IIIIEREAS, the acquisi t ion of certai n properties ts an essential ele -· ment in the construction of the public improvemen "t s and the furtherance of the approved private redevelopment, thereby implementing the Plan; and IIIIEREAS, the Authority has acquired the parcels of 1 and as descr i bed on the attached Exhibit A upon which to construct certain public improvement s ; and WHEREAS, the construct i on of the public improvements upon those par - cels ts now complete; and WHEREAS, to comply with the i ntent of the Downtown Redevelopment Plan and Cooperative Agreements between the City and Authority whereby a 11 public improvements were in t ended to be transferred to the City by the Authority for the purpose of maint enance and contra 1 of use .
