BACKGROUND
Wit h the redevelopment of the area west of South Broadw a; in the 330 0 and 3100
h io cr.s, it has been necessary to make certain changes in the traffic pattern. These
i provements are necessary to accommodate person s patron i zing businesses in th e . ~-
developed area and to improve the circulation between th at area and Cinderella City.
One of the key improvements to the traffic ci rculations has been the construction of
the i ntersection of Wes t Girard Avenue ~nd South Ch erokee Street , 1·1h ich Hill g ive
maj or access to the Phar-Mor co mp l ex , t he City Ha 11 and Library and to Ci nd erc 11 a City.
The right -of-1-,ay dedication is on the north,1est corner of the Girard/Chero ke e inter-
section and facilitates the right-turn mov em ent from Ch erok ee s outhbound to Gira rd 1·1 estbo11nd .
The utility ea sem ent is necess ary to acco mm odate th~ ma in tenance of t he acc !'nt
