SERIES OF 1986
A RESOLUTION FOR A COMPENSATION PLAN SYSTEM FOR MANAGERIAL EMPLOYEES OF THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO.
WHER EAS, the City of Englewood, by Charter Amendment effective April
13, 1981, provided for the establishment of managerial employees within the
se rvice of the City of Englewood; and
WHEREAS, the City of Englewood deems it is necessary to establish
managerial employees with full responsibility to the City in order that the
City be able to fulfill its mission to provide competent, responsible govern -
me nt lo Englewood Citizens; and ·
WHEREAS, by virtue of managerial duties ass i gned to these position s
h.v the City , the City of Englewood Career Service Board has determined that
tlw following positions are managerial, and as such are therefore excluded
frnm membership, participation and/or representation in any collectively bar-
g.ii rll'<I employee relations systems of the City of Englewood, and
WHEREAS, the City of Englewood desires to establish and maintain a
so und and beneficial employment system to benefit the City and managerial em-
ployee s of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
COLORADO;
Al TEST:
Sect Ion I.
That employees covered by the resolution will receive a wage adjust-
ment increase of 3% effective January I, 1987 .
