HAHN, OF TALLMADGE, TALLMADGE, WALLACE & HARN, 717 17th STREET, 11700, DENVER, COLORADO 80202, AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY TO REVIEW THE CITY•s OBLIGA- TION UJDER VARIOUS SEWAGE CONTRACTS WITH SANITATION DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, Section 67 of the Englewood Home Rule Charter provides: "67: SPECIAL COUNSEL "The Council may, on its own motion, or upon the request of the City Attorney, in special cases, employ special counsel to serve under the direction of the City Attorney •••• " AND WHEREAS, Bernard V. Berardini, City Attorney, has formally requested this Council to consider the appointment of David J. Hahn, Esq., of Tallmadqe, Tallmadqe, Wallace & Hahn, 717 17th Street, 11700, Denver, CO 80202, to review the City's obligations und&r various sewage contracts with Sanitation Districts: and WHEREAS, David J. Hahn, having had previous experience in the field of special laws and requlations dealing with Water and Sanitation Districts, City Council desires to grant the request of the City Attorney to provide special counsel for said matters. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO: Section 1. That David J. Hahn of Tallmadge, Tallmadge, Wallace & Hahn, Attorneys at Law, is hereby appointed special Assistant City Attorney to review the City's obligations under various sewage contracts with Sanitation Districts. Section 2. ~hat the compensation to be paid for said special counsel shall be at the rate of Seventy-five Dollars ($75) per hour. Payments for said special counsel shall be made monthly pursuant to billings received therefor. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of August, 1980.
