Tha t .n e:, is her~b y establi s h ed th e following sy s tem of w.~• ~n d benefit s f or t ne ma nage r i al and super v is or y emp l :ye~s of the Fi re Department o f th e City of En gle - wood : BENEFITS RESOLUTION FOR FIRE DEPAR'tMENT' S MANAGERIAL AND SUPERVISORY POSITIONS The following Fire Department's poaitions shall be represented by this Resolution: Administrative Bat talion Chief Line Battalion Chief Cap rain ARTICLE I, HOURS OF WORK Employees of this Resolution are expected to work the hours necessory to a chieve efficient transaction of business which in mo s t instan ces wi J .I exceed an average of 56 and 40 hours of work per week, ARTICLE II. ACTING PAY All act ing positions will be compe n s ated ot one-half the difference bl!tu,•~·11 th(! emp l oy ee 's actual classificati on and that in which he is acting as opprovt•d by the appointing authority, name ly the City Manager . The employee must be in the position for a period of thirty (30) consecutive calendar days before s aid employ ee becomes eligible for acting position comp ens ation, Such pay will 1,e r etroactive to the first day said em ployee assumes the responsibility of t he position , ARTICLE III. ANNUAL LEAVE A. Non-sh ift work employees shall be entitle d to fifteen (15) day s o l annual leave each year . Annual leave shall accumulate mon thly a t t h e '"·all: c,J one and one -fourth (l!t) days per mo nth of active service. In o r der to qu.:.illf } fo r annual leave credit during the mo nth, the emp loyee must have worked at least one•·half (lj) o f the working days of that month excluding authorized p n.l d leave. Annual leave shall not be granted to any emp.loyee until he h as bl!en 111 the employee of t he City for at leas t one year unless otherwise authorize d by the Chie f . For t ho3e emp l oyees having lesa th an ten (10) year s of con tinuo uu service , the maximum accwnulation of a nnual leave shall be thirty (J O) cl ayt..
