FOR A HOTEL AND RBSTAURART LICEllSB TO BB LOCATED AT 701 WEST HAMPDEN AVENUE IN CINDBRBLLA CITY, ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO. WllBRBAS, Jack Field, Inc. has heretofore made application pursuant to the provisions of Article 47, Title 12, CRS '73, as amendod, for a Hotel and Restaurant License to be located at 701 w. Haapden Ave., Cinderella City Shopping Center, at location nUllber E-1249, Bnglewood, Colorado; and WllBREAS, notice of said application and notice of public; hu..ariuy havin9 IJeen yiven, and the hearing having been conduct.:cu on the 23rd day of July, 1979 before the City Council, as the local licensing authority. NOW, THBRlU'ORE, BE IT RESOLV!:;U DY THE CITY COUNCIL OF '!'HI!: CITY OV ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, as follows: 'l'hat based on the application of Jack Field, Inc. and the teatillony and exhibits received at the public hearing, the City Council of the City of Englewood, as the local licensing authority, does hereby make and adopt the following findings and conclusions: 1. That all legal notices, publications and postings with reference to the public hearing were proper and consistent with the requirements of Article 47, Title 12, CRS '73, as amended. 2. That the City Council designated an area of two (2) miles in radius as the •neighborhood• to be considered in granting the applicant'• request for said Hotel and Restaurant License. 3. Mr. Max Scott, President of Oedipus, Inc., 1200 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado, testified that he was employed by the City to conduct a survey to determine the needs and desires of the resident• of the neighborhood. He submitted 7 petitions (Exhibits •c 1•through •c 7 •> together with a report of the survey (Exhibit "B"). 4. The result• of the Oedipus survey revealed that 1,018 total contaccs were attempted and of the total contacts, 304 were not at home, but 714 actual contact• were made within the defined neighborhood. Of the 714 actually contacted, 308, or 79\, signed the petition atating that the need• and deaire• of the neighborhood were not .. t; 78, or 20•, signed in opposition stating that the needs and desire• of the neighborhood were met and signed the .-, . • • petition a9ainat the iaauance of the license. Of the remaining contact•, 108 preferred to remain neutral, 49 would not sign any petition, and 88 were not qualified to sign. The applicant presented four witnesses: Mr. Thomas· Marriott, Manager of Cinderella City, 701 w. Hampden Ave.; Mr. Jack Penfield, 109 E.
