MiERF.AS, the City Council of the City of P.nglewood is desir- ous of cmstructing a Senior Citizens Recreation Center; and tffEREAS, the Englewood Centennial-Bicentennial Fotmdation is organizing a canpaign to raise One Hlmdred Thousand Dollars to aid in the construction of the Senior Citizens Recreation Center; and lflERF.AS, the City Col.Dlcil and the P.nglewood Centennial- Ri c entemial r-oundation feel th;at it would he beneficial to ~ able to announce the proposed location of the Center; ~. 'lbat the City COl.mcil of the City of P.nglewood declares that it is its intent to construct a Senior Citizens Recreation Center in 1977 on the site enclosed by Girard on the south, Lincoln on the ea~t, the llou~ in~ for the EIJerly project on the north, and the Broadway-Lincoln alley on the west.
