A RESOL UTION APPROVING THE TRANSPORTATION PLAN AND THE METHOD
OF FINANC ING THE S AME BY THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS , over the past months the Council of the City of Englewood ;: has
followed closely the efforts of the Regional Transportation District and its staff
as they reviewed the need for transportation in the Denver metropolitan area; and
WHEREAS , varied plans were considered by the Regional Transportation
District and public hearing s held during June, 1973, on said various plans;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOL VED DY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
COLORADO , as foll ows:
Section 1.
That the Council un anim ou sly approve the Plan for integ rated land use
transportation and person rapid transit systems, and the program for financing the
implementation thereof.

That the residents a nd citiz e ns of th e City of En~lewood, Colorado, are urg ed
to vote for the app roval of s uch plan and its financin g on September 7, 1973.
