I RESOLUTION NO. 29, SERIES OF 1971 A RESOLUTION REVISING THE RATE SCHEDULE FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO WHEREAS, it is provided in Title 15, Chapter 4, Article 1, Paragraph 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of Englewood, Colorado, that rates and charges for the treatment and disposal of sanitary sewage at the Engle~ wood sewage treatment plant may be established and fixed by resolution of the C i ty council from time to time; and WHEREAS, the City council, of the City of Englewood, at a regular session held December 4, 1967, adopted a Resolution establishing a schedule for such rates and charges; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain changes are necessary to provide rates and charges for additional fixtures and for additional cate- gories of users; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Englewood that the following schedules of rates and charges for treatment and disposal of sa n i t ary sewage at t h e Eng lewood sewa ge tre a tment plant be effec- tive and co lle cted af ter July l, 1971. Outside City Limits rates and charges for sewer only accounts may, at the discretion of the Utilities Director, be billed annually wher e t his wo uld not con f l i ct with specific provisions of a connector's agreement. All b ills sh a ll become due and payable upon receipt of the bill and shall become delinquent 30 days after date of bill. ·J-)r. Schools: The rates and charges for schools shall be based on 70% of the consumption of metered water during a nine months period commencing September first and ending May thirty-first of the preceding calendar year, a nd shall be billed in quarter- annua l installments in advance, and shall become due a nd payable upon receipt of bill, and shall become delinquent 30 days after date of bill. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be published in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise for two successive issues commencing on June 9, 1971, and that copies of same be transmitted immediately to all the Boards of the several Sanitation Districts now contracting with the City of Englewood for sewage disposal service.
