(b) The real property to be included within the district shall consist of
realty described hereinabove.
(c) The probable total cost of the improvements within said district is
$15,888.50 and the amount of funds of the City which is to be devoted to said improve-
ments is approximately $4,456.66. The balance of the total probable cost (being
approximately $11,431.84) is to be paid by special assessments to be levied upon
each parcel of the real property hereinabove described.
(d) All assessments levied against the aforesaid parcels of real property

will b e due a nd p a yable, without demand, within thirty days from and after the final
publications of an ordinance assessing the costs of said improvements against the real I
property in the district. In case any owner of real property shall fail to pay whole
of such assessment against his property within said thirty days then the pro rata cost
of said improvements so assessed against his property, together with interest at the
rate of seven per cent (7%) per annum on any unpaid balance, shall be payable in
fiv e equ a l a nn ua l i n sta llme n ts . The f ir s t of such installments of principal and
interest shall be due and payable at such time as may be determined in and by the assess-
ing ordinance, and the remainder of said installments shall be due and payable successively
on the same day of each year thereafter until all are paid in full.

(e) As shown by the estimates of the Director of Public Works, the probable
costs to be assessed against the real property within the district for said improvements
are:
Vertical curb and gutter $3.54 per lin. ft.
Sidewalk (4" thick) • 87 per sq. ft •
Driveway (6" thick) 1.11 per sq. ft.
Removal of old sidewalks • 26 per sq. ft •
Removal of old vertical
curb and gutter • 87 per lin. ft •
Saw concrete 2.76 per lin. ft.
(f) That any person desiring to be heard upon the issue of the creation of
the district, upon the construction, installation or the improvements involved, or upon
the Bill for an Ordinance to be introduced may appear at the above time and place for
that purpose.
